I do that every couple of months now but mostly I use dr bronner soap (the peppermint i highly recommend trying at least once) and add 5drops tea tree and some rosemary.
and definitely stick with it man, your locks already look awesome!
sorry for the last reply man, i started with about 50 then as time went on alot them started to combine, one i made do so but I don't recommend that since they will sneak up on you and now I have about 44-43 roots but thanks man! hows yours coming along?

welcome glad u stopped crocheting hats really bad for em i wouldnt twist at all either tho that can cause trouble too (i can tell u twist from the pics ..but seen way worse so guessing your not overtwisting too much or havent too long yet)
