Welcome. Wax is preventing your hair from locking, though. It creates the illusion of locks because it glues your hair into thick strands, but it never actually locks. And wax NEVER washes out in normal soap and water. It needs a detergent to get it clean. Wax is a hydrocarbon.
Retwisting is extremely damaging, too. It does nothing but creates a condition called Traction Alopecia. That leads directly to baldness. If you can ever see your scalp in between your locks, that is a sign that you will be going bald. You can fix it by washing out all of the wax, and letting your hair go. I'm not all about 100% natural for everyone. You can use a starter method, but the path you're headed on will lead your to having no hair
welcome but wax and \tewisting are extremely bad for dreads
Welcome and Happy Dreading..
