Well thanks guys for all your help. I wish I could say I felt better....I do a little bit though, I wont be returning for a new twist at the Salon. I do want to keep it as is though, and wash it in two weeks. I think thats what Im going to do, then go naturally from there. Use my hat, and try to form them my self. I know I wont be getting a refund, so that Ill just have to chalk up. I know you guys wernt being too harsh, I guess I just wanted a little hope that maybe it would help just a wee bit......even if you don't agree with wax but I guess not, Thanks again. Ill repost with some updates.

Really I can understand mold and rotting to the best of my knowledge, and the whole wax thing being bad. Although it seems a lot of people tried the wax method with some success, even if they went natural after. Even some success stories you've replied to, and complimented them after they went Natural. So Im going to do it. Not go back to the Salon, and go Natural. But to Not even wait a Mere 2 Weeks, could it really be that bad? Some of these other people have waxed for over 2 months or more then go Natural. How can 2 weeks, then wash hope a few twists stay, and then go natural really hurt?

your scalp will be a disaster in 2 weeks why would you want to not wash for 2 weeks when washing helps them dread

if the only thing you did was wash theyd dread

letting them get filthy scabby scalp itchy will slow progress even more then then just wax

hair needs to be clean to dread free of oils and waxes

the 1st thing id do is wash to try to get the wax out the wax will not help

ppl have recovered from wax after much effort

and been fine

but the longer u wait the harder it will be

i would very strongly suggest that you start over..today you can have nice clean beaitiful tnr dreads by tonight

if u wait 2 weeks and dont wash you will be itchy like crazy

you r wax will harden and be way way harder to remove

it can take months to remove

and they will be no more dreaded in 2 weeks then they are today

why not do it right right now and be guaranteed a better experience?

and why wouldnt you ask for a refund knowing that what she did will never result in dreads?

remember what babba fats said?

he used wax and waited 2 weeks to wash

when he washed 3/4 of his hair fell out with the wax

your taking serius risks by not starting i[over today

absolutely every thing that woman did and told you to do was 100% wrong

continuing to do things totaly wrong will not have possitive results

and can have very negative results

tonight when you sleep ypur pillows will be coated with wax

you will probly wake up covered in pimples from wax clogged opores'

yiur furniture..waxy

your clothes waxy

do you want to have to replace a sofa and pillows cause they are coated in wax? your car seats too?

wax will clog your drains when you wash it out

its pure evil leaving it in 1 day longer then nesacary makes no sense at all

we had 1 gu=irl wax the 1st several months

so only that 6 or 8 inches of hair ever was waxed

5 years later she took out the wax cause the ends never dresded right

guess what

they never draded at all

2 weeks wont give u any progress

5 years with wax wont give u any progress

they wont progress at all till the wax id gone

Could I back comb what she has done, then wash immediately after getting the wax out?

what shes done,.is literaly nothing just smeared wax in hair and w=twisted it

its not worth saving except if you like the harsh fake sectioning then comb each out put a rubber band in while u wash out the wax then backcomb or tnr the section its pointlyess to backcomb b4 removing thewax the wax must cvome out

id tnr insrtead of backcomb but no matter what comb out dewax is 1st steop

you shouldnt bother trying to save the sections as they are rediculouse and its better off with more random sectioning or at very least staggard

but if u want to keep the sectioning then comb out add a rubber band to each to presserve the sections then scrub the hell out of it with the hottest water u can stand and dawn dish soap

then go ahead and tnr

tnr is easy cfast the least damaging and looks vbest from the start

be sure to remove all rubber bands tho arfyer u tnr or at least the very next morn

I washed several times, and used dawn. Still seems a lil matty, and oily. I washed 5 times! should I let it dry, then wash again? Maybe wait a day before TnR? If theres a lil residue will it be alright?
