no but u need to seoperate them thats all
making them closer to the scalp wont do a thing in a few weeks they will be loose at the sacalp anyway roots are always loose for many months
but as dreads dread they try to eat eachother and need seperation often
take 2 dreads connecting and pull them away from eachother typicaly easier when wet but try wet otr dry if they are refusing to seperate a lil iolive oil on just the connecting roots will help
then do it ogften! it might hurt the 1st time if u waited too long but when u do it often eniugh it wont be a big deal
