Found this site while looking for information and tips on maintaining dreadlocks. I have had mine for about 3 weeks now and I figure the best advice this early on comes from those who have already been down that road.

Welcome to the site. Lots of decent folks on here that can help ya along the way.
Welcome, Brother...The only maintenance that dreads need is to be separated as they grow together at the roots. I see you're using the DHHQ shampoo, (I hope you didn't use the wax) it can get pricey, there are much cheaper, and better alternatives you can find on here, the most popular is the Baking Soda (BS) mixed with some essential oils, and a Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV) rinse (you can find the instructions for that by searching on here). If you do feel the need to do some sort of maintenance you should check out all the many tutorials to the right if you scroll down quite a bit||||\|/------->If you have specific questions just post it in the appropriate section, we're pretty friendly around here.
