Not sure where to put this...regarding beads and sleeves

I was poking around looking at beads and sleeves last night, and some of the sites say that they help your dreads form. Is this true? If so, can someone explain to me how this works? I like the look of beads and want to get them for aesthetic reasons, but if they can help my dreads form, all the better! TIA! Oh yeah, and a request: Can you post your beaded/sleeved dread pictures here for me or give me a link where I can see them? Thanks again!

lets put it this way i had straight hair i added a few beads a week later (maybe 2?) i had dreadsthey help dreads dread by holding sections to gether and letting em dread
