So I started mine with a few TnR then mostly backcombing. Before i found this site I was also crocheting them. I have stopped that and will just be washing and separating going forward. I can feel the difference of the stuff I crocheted and the new growth that has been dreading. The crochet is hard and no squishy at all, the new growth is a lot softer and squishier. First pic is day one 11/14/2018 and then other is today. Seven months tomorrow

well 1st pic looks extremely unconfortanble
like the punk rock days og the 80s when some used rubber cement to create liberty sikes that were permenantly hard and stuiff (and had to be folded down to sleep) but 2nd photo looks way or relaxed and comfy

Only maintenance I do is separate every few months. July 5th 2019 will be 2 years.
Almost to the 2 year mark! I remember your face from when I first found this site, glad to see you around
