I want to add more dreads, but I have to go to court

Thats funny you say that, because i think the part of my hair thats un dreaded looks messier than the part that is. The dreads actually look neater. recoverytrouble said:

Do you think having 1/3 or 1/2 a head of dreads is going to look any more presentable than a full head of em? Not saying you should or shouldn't but after a point they're gonna be noticeable no matter what and if only portions are done it may look even scruffier.

yeah, i was thinking about that. And what if the judge was discriminating about the details of the case based on their own opinion or experience. So you never know, you just have to hope your judge is just. Chewin Change said:

i just want to add....The thing about my hair is a minor issue to this case. I have just been doing my hair lately and the found out about this and was like "maybe i should chill out on my dreads for awhile" but i dont know how long this will drag out. I really dont care. Im not taking my peircings out for them. I may wear along sleeve shirt to cover my ink, though. When it comes down to it, my husband and I are not trying to take something away from my parents. We are just like "look we are a family now, and we expect our son to act a certain way. If he does something we dont agree with or disobeys us, my husband or myself have the right to correct him. We just dont want him staying the night with them for a little while. We used to joke about it, " he turns his hat around backwards with them." LOLI just know my son's potential and it hurts my heart to see him unruly and have all out meltdowns around them. They give him no guidelines.I am trusting God on this one b/c my husband and I are just trying to raise our son right.
