Yeah I am just letting mine run wild too. For me I think the "ohnoes, must have perfect dreads ahhh!" anxiety came from just being in the gateway to starting the journey, being freaked out about the possibilities. But there are things about the journey you just can't understand until you are on the journey. I'm only a week in and a lot of my views have already changed. I see how people can love the loops now.

I love my loops and zig zags, it makes me so thrilled to see my dreads change as my hair grows. I know that when I see crazy loops and zig zags that I'm doing what's right to let me dreads be the best that they can be! For someone who is only about 6 months into her dreading experience it makes me SO happy to see such progress with very little maintenance, just washing
Thank you SE for showing us the way to having fantastic and natural dreads!

I have a whole head of loops. My dreads are only about 3 months old and so I have gently pulled a few of the bigger ones back on itself with the use of a crochet hook but only gently making sure that no hair breaks. and am using peyotestitches in some others but for the most part my dreads are super loopy and crazy.
