Question about soap

I make my own cold process bastille (olive and coconut oils) bar soap. Is this good for washing dreads? It is all I used for my hair but I just started dreads and I need to know if I need to come up with a new formula.

castile soaps generaly cause residue  inhard water areas

thats why we recommende dreadlockshampoo.com cause its made for all water types and is 100% organic

but castile soaps like bronners might work in water thats not very hard  but the harder the water the  worse the result ranging from just feeling oily to having a severe  waxy like buidup

the bronners gbar tolerates slightly harder water then the liquid cause its superfatted  (the liquid)
