Root lock help!? Please

Hi. I've had dreads now for 1.5 years and my roots are still not locking I was wondering what methods and/or products that could help them along? 

nothing but time they should not be any more locked then they are.. if u force tighten the roots you end up going bald

you will always have loose hairs at the roots..just leave t be

yea you need to stop the crochet let them loosen up and recover
