When I wash my hair, I rub my hair all over and my scalp (like everyone does) , but now that I have started neglect-freeforming dreadlocks I don’t know whether there’s a better way to wash them to avoid unknotting any knots that may have formed.
My hair is very curly, 3C hair, so can knot up very quickly when left to its own devices, but can also equally as quickly unknot itself when having a shower.
Also, I have another question - is itchy hair normal when neglect-freeforming dreadlocks? I’ve never had itchy hair in 23 years, and now that I have started to neglect-freeform dreadlocks my hair is insanely itchy even though I am washing my hair as frequently as I have done for years.
Thanks. Peace.
