I'm on my last leg of 20's almost "old" ;P I have a few grays to prove it haha! I am a seamstress/upholster. I was lucky to meet an auto upholstery shop owner who was willing to pass his upholstery knowledge down to me about 5 years ago, we do mainly auto, I still work for him 2 days a week but on my own I do a wide variety from autos and antique furniture to clothing and cloth diapers.
Tips on Neglect method
It's great to see their minds spin with ideas and creating patterns from those ideas. Also very rewarding to take something flat and bring it to life, giving it a purpose or reviving some amazing pieces of craftsmanship.
