Hey everyone, new journey just started. It took the last 2 days but it's finally done! Need some opinions and tips would be appreciated. Used the twist and rip method with some backcombing. The bands are coming out tomorrow.

20 is the very least youd want if you want really thick dreads that dry very slow

20 might also look gappy with big gaps between dreads

unless you left the bangs loose  29 is  typically closer to 2 inch sections  most here have 30-40-60 or evenmore  theres a few with 20 even 13 but they are big fat dreads  and take a very long time to dry

I don't have any dreads (really noticeable ones) yet, but I have a few clumps of ratty knotted hair in the back and it's only been one week since I stopped combing/brushing and I'm so so excited!
