My 3 month update
I sectioned and back combed in about the second week of May. I was using bs to wash with occasional acv for the first two months. A friend of mine who has been growing dreads for about 20 years gave me a sample of his shampoo from dreadheadhq and I have used that for the last month. The stuff locked up my hair like crazy.
They look great! I started mine on May 12, using the freeform, organic method. We share birthdays 
I didn't get my first lock until the end of June, and the top/front part has gone pretty quickly since. The back portion is still hanging loose, so to speak. Look forward to seeing how they progress!
