ive had my dreads for almost a month and its awful , i had started a back comb/ neglect method and it was just looking like coarse pieces of hair clumped so i washed it and combed it out just to start again july 11th, i did twist and rip on the pieces i could salvage but in the back of my head its totally matted , is that normal im considering washing out and starting again if i some how screwed the process up.

you mean forming 1 dread u should seoerate often also you should be washing and they shouldnt wash out
what do u wash with
