Hey all,
My name is Joseph, and I'm new to this community. I've intended to dread my hair for quite some time now, and I think I'm ready to get started. I'm glad to have found this great site, so that I can do it right from the start, naturally, organically, and free!!
My hair is still quite short right now (about 4 inches), but I would like to get started learning how to properly wash and what to do or not do with my hair as it begins to do it's natural thing. I already don't brush my hair, but I'm realizing that I do touch it a lot. I tend to mess it up cuz I like that scruffy look, but I'm trying to just let it be.
I wonder if there are any tips you all could offer me as I begin adjusting my habits, and prepping my head, for dreads.
