I recently got my dreadlocks about two months ago.

i have 29 dreadlocks all together i was hoping for more but what can ya do? i love all 29 of them.

I am having a little bit of a problem since my dreads are so thick i have a couple spots that appear to look like I'm balding what should i do to fix this? I'd really like to find a solution to this.

how did u "get dreadlocks" how thick is the thickest secyion

the bald spots are most likely caused by the method and through months of separating and no root maintenance should fix themselves

yup crochet i should have guessed (actualy was pretty sure that was the cause)

how many months since the last time you used ia hook and how often had you

best case you will see them go away in 3ish months worse case a year all depends how severely tight they are crochetted the size of the section (compared to the size of the crocheted dread) and how often and how long u crochetted

give us more info and pictires and might have a better idea what to expect

but

theres 1 simple solution

stop crocheting let the roots loosen up let the dreads thicken up let the hair grow in and cover the scalp in between

it only takes once to cause issues for many months

but how much over an inch? most likely it could be the size causing the issues
