I'm Courtney, I'm 20, I'm newly married to my soul mate, and have a beautiful 8 month old daughter.
I have been wanting to let my hair dread for a long time but wanted to wait til after I left my job (I'm fulfilling a dream of mine and am going to create and sell organic teddy bears =) so I could let my hair be itself without my managers crapping on me.
Its been a month-ish since I've stopped brushing my hair.
I've been using the 'no-poo' method (baking soda, ACV) of washing my hair for ages already, and I dye it red using 100% pure powdered henna. (Anyone know if I can continue to do this once my dreads are formed??)
So here's what my hair is currently doing, nothing much just yet, but its still fun to document =)
This little guy back here wants to lead the pack and has started forming already-
I'm super excited to see where this journey takes me and to see what my hair does =)
