Is my hair too short?

im caucasian with pretty thick, blonde hair about 2.5-4 inches. I'm very eager to start the proces but im not sure how exactly. Im guessing the natural method is what i should use. Ive grown my hair out before and i never comb it, it doesnt dread tho it just turns into a frizzy mop top (which isnt really an option right now.) So maybe I should twist n rip or use some wool rubbing or something? And what about washing my hair? Thanks to anyone with advice. this picture is from last night after about 2+ hours of playing around with twist n rip(i was bored)

tnr requires 4-5 inches to hold at 4 most will fall out at 5 most will hold

natural you can start at bald but may not dread till 4-6 more typicaly 6

take biotin daily (someone else can suggest how much to take) biotin takes 3 months to see any results but then will double even triple the growth rate

you have several months to go till its long enough to dread

I just did a bit of research and found out its vitamin B7. It seems pretty legit and apparently most people start noticing a difference after a month or so. A lot of sites recomend taking 5000mcg a day! I'll probably give it a shot too!
