This website inspired me to go natural 2 years ago (after an unfortunate battle with T&R), so I owe you guys some progress pics

HERE IS A LINK TO THE ALBUM

The dreads took over a year to even start forming but once they did, they took off very fast. Definitely worth the wait, for anybody still considering natural. My hair was very smooth and mostly straight, also very thin, and seemed unlikely that it would proceed at all. I don't have any before pictures as I am on a different computer but maybe I can dig something up if anybody wants to see.

You're definitely not alone. I'm one of a number of us that took a while to lock up. I didn't see any progress for about 1 year. Ixchel didn't see progress for about 8 months. I know if I wanted to start over I'd go completely natural

Yeah I'm really happy with how they turned out. I had to do a lot of separating to keep them small

my hair is very straight and fine. i hope they end up looking like yours, they are beautiful! ((:
