I've seen many posts about this and it seems everybody agrees to saturate your hair in rubbing alcohol and cover it with a plastic cap or bag and let it set for at least 30 minutes. Now I personally haven't had it although my kids have and they don't have dreads so we used the kits with the comb. How are you to get all the dead nits and actual lice out is what I wonder. Thank you. I read tht somwhr as wel an i heard vinegar helps loosen them. I will try this. I ended up cutting the few baby dreads my son had cause i fig to b safe. I didnt want to chance infestation. But i dont wanna have to cut my more maturexones. Thanks again.

they make a product called nitnanny

2 versions 1 oily 1 a mouse i used the oily 1 it worked wonders but was extremely slippery

not good for young dreads

the mouse would be better for any dreads under a few years

but the stuffs safe all natural and works more thouroughly then the alcahol

I dont have a bank accnt or able to buy online. But thanks soaring wagle. Good to know. Im sitting in alch right now.. 10 more min. Then i plan to rinse with apple vibegar. All my hard work washed out! :( ill still have a cpl babies but most are untangled now. :(
