Hi guys,
A little about me;
- I play basketball for a living as well as working in an office too.
- I'm 22 years old
- I'm from England
- I got dreadlocks about 4 weeks ago
- I love my dreadlocks!
I had a couple of questions and thought I'd just drop them in my introductory thread.
I've had my dreadlocks for a month, and I realise that it's a long process so I don't need to be told that!
Here are my questions though,
I backcombed my dreads (I know a lot of you will disapprove) and I have quite a bit of loose hair, and loose roots (When I say that I mean a fair bit of space between my dreadlock and my scalp).
Now on to my question, Is there anything I can do to tidy them up for a work a little? Or even help them to lock up a little faster. Do I do anything to speed along the process at all of tightening?
I heard that lemon juice and sea salt water helps to lock things a little quicker. I was just wondering I want to tidy them for work and I'm best man at a wedding soon and want them to be tidier if possible. If I can't lock them quicker is there a way for me to at least put something on them (Obviously not wax) and tidy them up a little?
Thanks in advance guys!
