I wouldn't advise Rocking Locks anyway, I just had a look and it looks pretty crap to be honest. They look like a DreadHeadHQ rip-off and the shampoo doesn't seem that good.

Yeh, I think I am just going to do this too for the time being. The main reason I was looking for a liquid shampoo is I am going travelling for 6 months in a couple of months and it would just be handy to have a liquid shampoo to bring. Ill just have to keep looking or else bite the bullet and pay a bit more for the readlocksshampoo before I go
have you looked into lush? they have handmade organic shampoo, maybe a bit pricey but they smell great. they should have some shops in Ireland i figure
Hi Mahesa, I directly contacted the head office for Lush, and they do not recommend any of their bars for dreads as there could be a residue build up. Here is a copy of their email to me: http://www.dreadlockssite.com/forum/topics/don-t-use-lush-products-on-dreads
I give them full credit for being so honest with me, so cheers to them for that!

Have you joined this group for Irish dreadies yet? http://www.dreadlockssite.com/group/irish-dreadies It only has 13 members, but they would know where to purchase shampoos and bars in your area. Ask Kelly who is a member on there, he is on the site a lot.
There is also a UK group with 89 members, I'm sure some are from Ireland: http://www.dreadlockssite.com/group/ukdreadlocks
This would be the best way for you to get shop info....good luck & peace
Dr. Bronners may not work for you if you have hard water, works fantastic in soft...As for the Dreadlockshampoo, I have hard well water and her products are fantastic for me, the first ones that worked. The liquid is a locking up shampoo, great for the first years because you only have to scrub your scalp and when you rinse it will run through your sections, cleaning them as it goes. The bars are great for mature dreads as you can rub the full length of the dread by then.....
I used the BS / ACV for my entire first year and loved it. Enjoy your 6 month of travels !!! peace
