short or long hair

is it better to start dreads with short or long hair????

depends

too short (under 6 inches in nion african under 1/2 inch in african) wont dread till longer

longer hair dreads faster but shrinks more and needs more seperating to prevent huge dreads early on

otherwise anything over 6 inches

i wouldnt bother waiting to start oif thats why your asking

It's better to start dreads when it gets in your head, the idea that is....however your hair is, that's when you start, no growing it, not cutting it....just starting it.....peace
