Hi my name is ely and I just started myi dread journey about two and a half weeks ago using the twisting method and b and b tropical cream and it seems like my hair doesn't won't to start locking any suggestions

whats in the cream and why are u using it

are u african ameribcan

its only been 2 weeks u know it takes a year to lock right?

remember never retwist! just leave em alone use no products just wash and go

thats it

but whats in the cream and why use it

Water petrolatum microcrocrystali wax beeswax and and bunch of other stuff and it was the only thing I could find in store to start and yea african American

wax is pure evil in dreads

u need nothing

wax will prevent them from ever dreading

african american hairs hard as hell to keep from dreading

thats why braids cornrows straightening weaves etc are so popular its the only way to prevent dreads

so

wash that out use wax b gone

start over'

no need to twist it will dread naturaly just seperate so they dont form too big

petroleum wax is extra extra bad beeswax is horible too

thats going to be extra hard to remove from dreads

wax is the enemy of healthy dreadlocks
