I've seen this stuff on Etsy and it seemed really good but I found it cheaper at my local health store. This unscented shampoo has the same think feeling as other normal shampoos. I've not used it yet. Here are the ingredients.

Water, African Black Soap (Saponified Unrefined Shea (Butyrospermum parkii) Butter, Umrefined Palm Kernel (Elaeis guineenis)

Is this okay on my caucasian hair starting baby dreads?

African American hair has a different texture than Caucasian hair, theirs does not produce the same oils, thus making their hair dry and brittle if they do not condition it or use oils, therefore, that soap was made for their texture and needs. I too bought this in the beginning and thought I could use it, lucky I did not. It is good as a face and body wash, so please use it for that....peace

I wash my face with Nubian brand African Black Soap. The skin on my face has never been happier. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. I did wash my dreads in it once. It left residue. Made me very sad. Because it smells wonderful and feels so great on my skin..I had to try it on my hair. Don't wash your hair with it but by all means wash your body/face with it. It is great!!
