Shelby's 3 YEAR Timeline

Hello! Thought I should introduce myself - I'm Shelby. Seamstress, Milliner, and Hippie-chick living in Oakland, California.

I had dreads 2005-2008. Here are some pictures.

Babies. Back combed/rip & twist - no wax.

I remember thinking 'Huh, they finally sort of look like dreads.". Around 3 months.

Abooooooouuuut Face!

9 months

A summer of swimming = tight locks, length loss, and funky loops!

You can see where I sewed one of my friend's dreads onto mine. The orange-ish thread on the right.

Lost a lot of length. 10 months.

Thickening up. There are 23 total.

1 year 3 months

Finally quit shrinking, start gaining some length.

Fatty-boom-ba-latty! Yes they were! I believe when I dread up again I want a few more, smaller dreads.
