Really lookingforward to seeing them at the 2 year mark! (If i keep them for so long, been thinking of starting over with neglet)
Awesome dreads
Combing them out now it takes some time.. new neglect timeline soon hopfuly! :D
Greetings to Denmark. You will enjoy your new free form set of locks you will be starting. Just remember to put no restrictions on the hair this time, like elastics/rubber bands. Those put weak spots in the dread, can be swallow into the dread and start to get gummy, and they also slow down the drying process, as the water does not freely run down the bottom and drip off. Keep them clean, 2-3 day a week washes will speed the process for you. You already stayed away from wax, so that's good, no gels either. All you need to do for natural dreads is clean & separate them. It is recommended that a section at the scalp should be no larger than a quarter size coin/ 1"/ or 2.5cm. If they are larger than this, thaey can take 24 hours or more to dry. One good tip I learned on this site is to use a micro fiber towel or Shamwow to absorb water from the dreads, this has reduced my air drying time a lot. Enjoy your new Journey and enjoy the funkiness in the next few months.
