Great name! How did you feed him? What do you call when you call him? (Love cats, can´t have one where I live; a number of people in this house have cats that are shut up all day. I can`t do that. Cats must be free to come and go as they wish. So I love other people`s cats, and watch cat videos on YouTube when it gets really bad).
Natural dreadlocks, from day 0
@panther - we had to syringe feed him for about a week because he was so tiny, and then we bottle fed him every 3-4 hours, even through the night 😩 he had to have a powdered kitten formula milk that’s like a replacement for his mother’s milk. Now he’s drinking it from a dish and we’re blending it with kitten food to slowly wean him. I have to take him to work with me during the week because he still needs multiple feeds during the day, and he gets up to all sorts of mischief 😂

Hi everyone! I’m now on day 26 (I think!) almost 4 weeks have flown by, my hair is kinda fuzzy now on the top from that coarse regrowth I get, and my hair has gone quite wavy/curly in places that it never waved/curled before! I have noticed that I’m getting only a few loose hairs coming out when I wash it, rather than the scary amount I used to have before I started this whole thing, so I must have a good amount of loose hair getting trapped in 😊 no lumps/bumps/loops yet though 😔 just wiggly random sections of unbrushed hair! Still taking photos every day and still loving it, last night I tried washing my hair with cool water instead of hot and it was curlier than ever this morning!
Question 1; I’ve just been letting my parting fall wherever it wants, it’s in a different place almost every morning when I wake up, because I figure if I’m going for wild hair I shouldn’t be concerned about keeping a neat straight part. Has/does anyone keep a part in their hair? How do you like it?
Question 2; I’m getting a lot of skinny sections, some like to spiral around each other, others like to stay on their own, I want them to just do their own thing, but how big a section is too big (ie; could become problematic later on) at this stage?
Thanks guys!

Looking great!
I`d done all my TnR dreads except one with a part, then suddenly thought, shit, you wanted to get rid of the part. So the last remaining dread falls to the other side. One loose strand at the back combines hairs from both sides of the part, and others at the front aren`t parted either. I don`t care for the part, but it`s slowly kind of disappearing.
I wouldn`t part it if I were you!

Looking good.
I think the part will end up somewhere naturally. Just let it do it's own thing and you'l probably find the hair will part where it always did.

manes don't have parts. your part will just disapear
as for sections, 1 inch or about the size of a quarter keep in mind thats a measurement at the scalp not the dread
