Your hair looks nice. I wish I could get my wife to dreadlock her hair. She has long beautiful brown hair. Her hair is naturally straight, and periodically put curlers in her hair to get lovely curls usually for special occasions. Looks good too, but I think dreadlocks would be awesome. I think the biggest hurtle is the self image issue. My wife is always asking me "Does this look okay?" Yesterday we were in the store (everyone around is complete strangers) and she put her hair up, and was bothered that the part in her hair wasn't perfect; it was zigzagy. I just told her its fine, and nobody here is going to care anyway. Nobody is going to be critiquing your part. You've been at it 4 months... How did you get over the image issues?

I work with photoshop a lot, the electrical lines and telephone pole are easy cause the sky is the background. That photo is for sure worth editing, it's fab.

@peace-shalom I spent years fighting frizz and trying to make my hair perfect. It took me a couple of months to adjust. The frizz bothered me really bad at first. Basically it just came down to the fact that I wanted dreadlocks more than I hated frizz. Now it's kind of nice to not be worrying about my hair all the time.

@1monday thanks! I did an edit with my phone. I think it's a few comments up. It's not the best, but pretty good for a free phone app!

Bazooka Guru: Hey I got stereotyped today! Some guy at the grocery told me I was a devil worshiper. He could tell by my "pretty hair and pretty eyes and pretty lips." Should have told him he was a perv and I could tell by his porn stache.🙄😂

in Arkansas when crystal mining a 'nice man' invited us to stay with him

we were rainbows used to being free anyways the sister traveling with us changed her shirt outside the van..not knowing he was peeking from the bushes

he then  started  calling her a witch and seductress in league with the devil and he was commanded by god to stone her

the next day were staying with a buncha hippies on a schoolbus

they told us he had bitten off his pregnant wifes ear

I like photoshop a lot too

Omg, these kinds of people really erk me. I am religious, but I use discernment when interpreting religious texts. Just because something is written down a long time ago, and claims "God said" doesn't mean it's guaranteed true.

I believe there have been redactions, and so we must use discernment.

For example in one place I've seen a religious text say to treat all people justly and with equality, and then in another place it condones slavery. So something is messed up.

Using discernment, the texts that follow the "just" and ethical path, that doesn't go against nature/environment is the truth.

With regard to hair, Dreadlocks are about as natural as you can get, so they are probably the most in-line with the way the creator or God designed us to be.

theres 10000 religions just christianoty and other bible based  beliefs theres 100,000 variations  that focus on 1  passage more then others and totally ignore others as irrelevant

within any 1 of those 100,000 diferent vriations of Christianity is 1,3 million preachers each preaching it their own way then in each church 100 or more  each forming their own pinions on what parts to believe or not (look at the preists touching young boys )

so we are looking at of those who are religios approximately 3 billion individual beliefs based on the same religions

why do you need any rreligion to simply be a good person help others care about life and   your neighbours  and do no harm

my religion can be narrowed down to 1 word..love

do I think theres a creator? I see absolutely no reason why there should be,,, do I think theres a god that answers prayers? if there were and every football team and every fan prays for a win why are there always  losers?

/ nope its just nature ..chemical interactions life  forces of the universe.. I think the fact that the universe exists at all in its infinite chaos is miraculous but its also scientific.. adheres tio laws like thermonuclear reactions  gravity  and so on..

I think there is mystery beauty and magic to the world  even things you can call myricals but do I think theres ome invisible man doing these things/

the universe literally is the creator

hydrogen compressed into a super dence 'zero p[oint" triggering the most massive release of matter and energy ,, hydrogen under  these thermonuclear  reactiins combined to form more complex elements .. and then 1 day along came a marvelous molecule.. dna…

heres an odd lil point.. neadrathals were knownto perform burials and funerals .. therefore having a concept of something precious about life and may be even an afterlife

there is a portion orf the brain..tiny as  it is called the god nodule.  this god nodule lights up with activity when you think about god....any god..any  godlight concept.. yes if you think mars and mercury are gods that portion of the brain activates

now this is my theory.. the ability to conceptualize god (whether 1 existed or not)  activated a wionder a curiosity ..an understanding of more then im hungry uim horny im tired.. mere survival..this could have been the trigger point that began the expansion of the mind to them pick up a rock and think I can break things with this  and farther on count fingers  leading to math and the discovery of things like relativity evolution  gravity  the big bang

by wondering how did we get here and coming up with the conclusion "god did it" it allowed us to think.. and realize wait maybe god didn't do it anfd it was all chemistry..

its an interesting thing to think about if your not stuck in that itty bitty part of the brain. .. not that it still doesnt serve a purpose to those who find confort there

I've got to ask how dos the whole thing not instantly lose all credibility for you when you realise that it is so contradictory?

Most religious people ignore that sort of stuff but as you have seen through it how do you not see through the rest?

I don't want to start an argument or anything I genuinely want to know what can make someone believe in something there is no evidence for.

im the dreadlocks natty dreads group I posted a glider altitude flight vd and mentioned how much farther you see from high up proving flat earthers  idiots but then 1 argued with me .. saying the bible proves the earths flat

I asked him for proof of burning bushes talking...outside of that book and he couldn't.. I pushed him hard to think things through..and he simply gave up..the bible is true even if the things you can see touch and feel  contradict it.. he made the statement dinasaurs are fake there are no bones lucifer is real

so I replied ok you can hold a bone in your hand.. you can hit yourself over the head with it you can weigh it measure it photograph it

so.. whats lucifer look like how much does he weigh?   ..belief might make you feel good but to deny things you can see and touch just because belief says they can't exist is ..really insanity
