27 year old dreadlocks maybe too long now

So was at the rainbow gathering to celebrate my dreadlocks 27th anniversary but on the way out when we left I was drying them hanging out the car window of a Chevy HHR when we pulled in somewhere and slow down and suddenly I felt very Sudden Bang Bang.

It was my dreads going under the back wheel then I realize that they were actually trailing far behind the back bumper when we were moving.

It doesn't seem like any of them were harmed really but it felt like something big and heavy came flying up from the back seat and smashed into the back of my head it was so loud it woke up the sleeping kids in the backseati

Wow! Thats is scary. Be careful. Don't let them be the death of you. Sound like it could have been close to a lot worse!

what a scary situation! I'm glad that everything went well and nobody got hurt!

At the gathering it was extremely hot and rainy every single day
So I was damp for the last two weeks
Really needed to fly them out the window to dry finally
