So I decided to bite the bullet and get my hair back combed a few days after Christmas. Combing and cutting my freeform locs was a big mistake, but everything happens for a reason and I am ready to start my journey once again.

From my freeform locs (22 months)-

To 7 months later:
Day 1 (Just finished) 12/27/16-
I have exactly 75 back combed locs. I still cannot believe how much hair I have! My friend didn't even make them very large!
As of now, I cannot wait for them to lay down haha!!!
Day 2- They flattened down A LITTLE while I slept, but not by much.
Day 3- Still freaking out over the fluff head a bit. I know they'll chill out eventually, but this is crazy to me LOL. After separating.
Day 5- Last night I let the hubs TNR a few of the top layer just to make separation easier and to see the difference in progress.
Day 7/One Week! - (1/3/17)
I'm LOVING how they are looking. The day they were done, I really thought they'd never flatten down! A lot of the back combed ones have looseness at the bottoms but are holding their sections well and the roots are still tight.
Day 11 (1/7/17)-
1 Month!! (Well, on the 27th, but I did a deep clean.)
1 Month 1 Week and 6 Days!!:
Started noticing a few loopy guys starting! My favorite, right at the crown of my head!
1 Month 2 Weeks and 1 day!:
Woke up this morning, took a shower, and noticed a bunch of loops and bumps starting!!!! And yes, I had to keep the pic of hubs photo bombing me ð
Same dread, 3 week difference -
Oh yeah! I dyed my hair btw ð
2 Months (tomorrow)!
The back is DEFINITELY shrinking and I have some INSANE loopage throughout my head!!! The fun is starting!
2 months 3 weeks and 6 days!
I've got some intense shrinking going on! The long strands at the bottom are undreaded hair that I'm getting messed with on Tuesday. That was fully shaved down to skin last May.
The difference between a week and now is crazy!!!
3 months!:
My hair loves to knot. Shrinking, crazy loopy, and ends are starting to naturally blunt. I have a few that have already blunted and are now only the length of my thumb!
3.5 months!:

My head is a complete mess of blunted, tiny locs ad loose hair LOL.

10 months (on the 27th!)! 10/23/17.

10.5 months! 11/15/17.
The back looks way more crazy compared to my 10 month update!
