Quick question, has anyone ever been denied a job position or had an employer deny you because you had dreads? And are there laws against this sort of discrimination in the professional world?
It's probably a stupid question but I'm just curious to know about anyone's experiences because I'm a college student and I'm probably going to get a white collar job; in so saying, how would you convince an employer that your keeping your dreads doesn't make you look unprofessional?
I know that you can only make so many people understand in this world we live in, but any suggestions and/or personal accounts would be appreciated.
