So I've been goin natural for 2 week (I know not much) but as a kid my parents were very hippie an I didn't get my first hair cut till age 6 ( so most of my life my hair has been extremely long, but growing up and neglecting showers as a kid , I've notice my hair takes like 10 days to get oily, should I continue with washing 2-3 times a week or less since my hair doesn't get as oily ( and yes I understand hair needs to be clean to dread) but from my understanding it means ringing the natural oils in your hair. Wich are none existant for a few days

yes wash
oils are only part of why you wash
in fact ocver washing makes u more oily
but dirt grime polution etc gets in the hair it doesnt need to be oily to be gross
and washing..the act of washing with water flowing through the har creates tangles and startes the dreading
the more u wash the faster it dreads
