Would sleeping in a wool hat be recommended for dreadlocks?

Ppl say that sleeping with a wool tam or a wool pillow case or a wool sweater over your pillow helps. I've been sleeping on a wool sweater for about 2 or 3 wks now. IF it actually works, I don't know! I have really noticed a difference!

It helps some. I haven't done it tho. The biggest problem is keeping the tam on your head. If you're a wild sleeper it's not going to stay on. If you're one of those that hardly moves or wakes up to roll over then you should be ok.
