sea salt sprays or rinses (or added to a bs wash) can help your hair knot quicker (but be sure to rinse 2 hours or sooner or it'll dry your hair & scalp), but aloe is conditioning & will have the opposite effect & loosen your dreadies. it can be used for dry locks or to tame frizzies but should only be used minimally on baby dreads.

Well aloe vera juice comes from the wonderful aloe vera plant and apparently helps to lock hair quicker. I have some in a spray bottle and spray it over my hair usually after I shower.. some people do it before and rinse it out. I posted a few more photos also
