Me and my dreads

Hi there to all, i've had dreadlocks for nearly 4 years now and continue to sport them with great pride. I believe i had the crochet method done for my locks, of these 4 years i've had them touched up 4 times. 3 times in the first 2 years, and the final one August 16, 2011. so i have about a year's worth of hair growth that isn't locked up tight. upon reading the issues of crochet method, what is the next best way to lock the loose hair up?

leave em alone thety lock themselves up but your suposed to have some loose hair drDs dont grow from the scalp pre dreaded if they did youd have hudge holes on your scalp where dreads grow from dreads are loose hairs alowed to tangle they need nothing at all except wzshing and seperating
