I'm trying not to be a butt about my dreads, I really want to have your outlook on it -- don't worry, it'll happen, you know?

I just had my friend get my a solid, dread shampoo from her work, she works at Lush Cosmetics, which is a vegan soap/shampoo/lotion shop, but I was reading through some posts on here and saw the any kind of coconut is conditioning and not to use that. And I read that it's for dry dreads, and mine aren't even there yet.

So could you tell me, or send me a link to, the basic formula for the baking soda wash and exactly what I'm supposed to do?

Do I just put it on like shampoo or do I live it in for a bit or what?

Thanks for being so quick in your replies, by the way, you're the best.

1 tablespoon per cup

add oils to treat issues like

rosemary really helps dandruff alot

pepermint itch relief might help dandryuff too

lavendar prevents mold and mildew

pour on let soak 10 min then rinse

then mix acv in water

this step varies by condition

new dreads or undreaded use very lil like a capful in a galon pour on rinse right away

mature dreads mix same as bs 1/3 cup to a galon pour on let soak 3 min rinse

oily hair skip acv completely till yiur no longer oily for 3 or 4 dat=ys

So it looks like my hair does have potential to dread :) Only about a week and a few days in!

Thoughts?

I'm shocked. Now, I believe what everyone's been saying on here, for sure. It will happen, as long as I have patience.

I have always been a ridiculously impatient person, SE. That's why this is going to be such a positive experience for me, to help me grow and change and live :P
