So I haven't been able to find anything to match what I'm trying figure out. But pretty much I where pretty loose headband about 3 inches wide when I'm not sleeping, I was just wondering if that will slow the locking process. I sleep with it off. But keep it on every day because my dreads are pretty short and they just look better pulled back. Any help is much appreciated!!

Ok awesome. Thanks guys. I appreciate it a ton. To separate them, do I just feel around the base of the section then move towards the end? Not too sure how to exactly, except for what I just figured you should do. But thought I'd ask some people a little more experienced. Thanks

Theres no problem with wearing a bandana I used to wear one all the time when my dreads were shorter.Never had any dread problems because of that.
