Hey my names Harley, ive decided on getting dreads.

I have pretty short hair just on minimum for dreads (bout 3 inches)

Whats the easiest way for me to get my short dreads but get them layered out so the stay short but my hair becomes puffier?

dreads shrink and get fstter 1st year then grow

lets see what u got now but natural it wont dread till bout 6 inches (unless your african type hair) otherwise 4-5 is best for twist n rip or backcomb

i would never recomend anything that gets em started at 3

so id start going natural today let em dread as they grow

So for natural just get a shampoo and watch em grow? or let it grow and go for a little twist nd rip

well if u go natural just wash and wait let them dread otherwise do a lil twist n rip to get them started tghen wash and wait

Thanks heaps for all this. for the twist and rip (seems to hold my hair in shape enough)how long do you think it should take and any house keepingfor it?

time varies but houdkeeping wash and..seperate if they try to join together thats all dreads ever need
