I am in love with the fact that you were so honest and vulnerable in your post. I felt empathetic as I read through the misery of your fight with trichotillomania, but I also was encouraged by the great joy that you now feel, free-ish from the struggle and refreshed by your journey with your dreads. I felt that the length was necessary in order to fully express the journey.

i have trich too, it has gotten to the point where i was going to shave my head to start over. i like having locks, it helps me pull less because i'm fidgety with my hair and having locks trains me to leave it alone
