Why did YOU get dreads?

the first time i had dreads, i wanted to just try it out.. i think dreads are absolutely beautiful for whatever reason a person chooses to do it.then i had to cut.... and just realized that dreads are just me. so now they're back and i'm VERY happy

well... i use to not like dreads till one night it just hit me... i really want dreads :-D

I have always loved the look of dreadlocks. My husband and I started our dread journey around the same time. For me it has a lot to do with learning patience. I have been trying for years to live as peacefully as I can (I used to be very angry a lot of the time) and I needed to learn patience. You have to be patient with dreads bc they do not always do what you want them to. I also like having them along side my husband since it connects us even more.
