Mature dreads - thin at the roots! D:

Just recently discovered this website (I have zero social media so I've been scrounging for a dread community somewhere.) and am super stoked to share my own and see other's dread journeys! I am over 1 year into my neglect dreads and have a few concerns! While some of them are doing great (I love every lump and bump they have) - but others I'm worried may to be too thin at the root. Is there anything I can do or should have been doing that can help? Or do I just need to wait it out?

i like them :) they aren't thin at the roots they are thick at the tips

you said you used lock peppa/ why and for how long

its basicly dirt (study the ingredients and you gotta laugh sand rosin (tree sap that would count as 'organic material" and even a herbicide in case some seeds take root) it only creates grittiness not knottiness

its kinda possible you still have a  bunch in that area if that's about when you stopped

I only used it may twice when I was a month or 2 into my dread process. I definitely did not like the feel and it was ridiculously expensive for such a small amount of product :/ Is there anything I can do to thin out the tips?

As i always say, just let them go, they will be fine and work themselves out. Once i finally stopped worrying about everything with my dreads, they seemed to be perfectly fine. They do look fine though, I wouldn't worry about them.
