Hi I'm Chris! 8 months in!

Hello my name is Chris. I'm on a dread journey. I'm growing a dread hawk so no hair on the sides. I'd spoke to soaring eagle on his other site but I couldn't add pics. So I'd just like to feed opinions. Are they on track for 8 months? They are more mature in the back cause I sleep on the back of my head. Excuse the lint I just woke up. Lol

Also just wanted to add I take biotin. 10,000 mcg a day

they look wicked!!

backcomb is not something i would ever recommend for your type hair (not 1 of my fave methods anyway but especially for your hair type)

but hey..they are coming along awesomely!

Thanks everyone! So they look the correct maturity for 8 months? I just want to make sure nothing looks wrong. lol

well.. at 8 months (and maybe till a year 1/2-2 (to my eye most ppl a yearish) or so longer) can see how they were started with backcomb  but  maturity wise id say yea

it varies for everyone..

your not far off from average id guesstimate

I've been using knotty boy bar shampoo. It was the first thing that I found when I was searching for dread shampoo online. However I am not loyal to this brand at all and will take recommendations. I usually only wash about once every week or two.

knottyboy destroys dreads! any company that dares sell wax for dreads should be boycotted

and i mean by a very wide margin no others come even close
