Just over a year need advice

Hi been neglecting my hair for just over a year now. My hair is super think and I swI'm in the sea a lot. I have tried not to influence the dreads but now defenetly have to rip them apart. My questions are are they ok? What if any maintenance should i be doing at this stage? Thanks all advice welcome.

separating for sore if your in the sea alt and its been a year you might want to start using oils or aloe to condition a tad..

What does faies mean? Sorry may be a bit naive. Also do you mean aloe plant extracts or a aloe oil?

aloe straight from the plant, or sold as a food additive or drink..but even then read the ingredients..there needs to be only 1.. aloe not a single other ingredient just aloe
