Hi i started my dreads 1 month ago i used backcombing but only the back of my head stayed knotted the front lost all its sectioning.

i separate the back to keep them from congoing.

but what do i do with the front when its trying to knot but i want to try and control the size? i imaging trying to separte the front would ruin the knots trying to start? heres some pics of what it first looked like and what it looks like now. the back has about 20 baby dread sections.

most of those sections are way too big

way way too big

take all those rubber bands out

let them be whatever size they want to be as long as they arent too big (over 1 inchu  at the scalp)

seperate any larger then that  or any that try to join together

several of those huge 1's should be combed out let them dread back up naturally

but at 1/4 the size

no wax was used and the biggest section in the back is 2cm by 4cm my wife doesnt understand square o.0 also i took all elastics out the second day.

the pics after the sideshow bob look are what it looks like now and the 10 other pics are what they look like in the back... so i should comb out the back? like i said the biggest section it 2cm by 4cm so its under an inch i had 40 in total then 20 in the front came undone and left me with 20 in the back
