I hate to tell him, but yeah, if he stops waxing then his "dreads" WILL come apart... because he doesn't have dreads to begin with. It's pretty obvious from the video that he just has sections of straight hair glued together with wax.
Good to see he's trying to get all the info though. Unfortunately the wax makers prey on people's fears that their hair will look ridiculous & not "stay together" if they don't use wax -- they can be really persuasive, sadly.
