Dreads on children

Hi all looking for some advice.

I would like my son to have dreadlocks when he is a bit older. My question is, is there a method that i can use that will allow dreads to form whilst he is growing up? My son is only 3 so i obviously dont want to start backcombing his hair, but he wants hair like daddy and i think dreads are really nice on children.

Basically i guess im asking if a natural method is suitable?

thanks in advance

yup

natural all the way

cage had his backcombed under 2 years old but they didnt really dread too well for awhile (havent seen recent pics)

but other kids on the site went natural anfd dreaded amazing like april for instance

3 is old enough to explain things and let him decide but im sure a 3 year olds smart enough to know that pains pointless if it can be avoided
