Okay I've been thinking about doing locking my hair a lot but I've been uncertain as to how. Well I've decided I'm gonna go with the twist an rip method. I have a few questions though .1. When I have finished dreading my hair how long should I wait to wash it?2. My hair is about 9 in long an I would like to know using the twist an rip method where about my hair would shrink to?3. Do I need any type of products using the twist an rip method?

How should the washing process of my dreads be done?
1 no need to wait but a day or 3 is good a week at most
u canwash it right away but a couple days to settle ins a good idea
2as much as it does
most likely lose 3 inch to start another 3 as it matures but that can vary alot starting short they shrink less drasticly
3 nooooo no u never want products in dreads only maybe sea salt and thats about it
